Denamse Angono Derkos Tirel is a Central African engineer and entrepreneur currently residing in Tanzania. He is the founder of the Azokwe and Ayekwe projects and has contributed to the Syngabook and MaiBiz platforms. Tirel is multilingual, speaking Sango, French, and English fluently, with basic knowledge of Swahili, Spanish, and Lingala.
Early Life and Education
Tirel was born in Bangui, Central African Republic, at Kastor Hospital. He spent his childhood in Bangui, completing his primary and secondary education there. In 2012, he was baptized at an Apostolic church before leaving the country to pursue further studies.
He studied Telecommunications Engineering at Cavendish University in Uganda, graduating in March 2020.
Family and Personal Life
Tirel married Tanzanian national Maria Mkombozi in 2021. The couple met during their first year at university while studying the same course. Together, they founded a small retail business called Daxemare Collection in 2017, which became an online operation in 2020 serving over 50 customers primarily from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Canada, Rwanda, and other countries.
The couple has two children: Denamse Daxmare Star (born December 2024) and Denamse Blessing Milka.
Career and Projects
Tirel began programming in 2018, teaching himself Python after learning C in university. His first project was a mini translation desktop application using Tkinter.
In 2019, he developed the first English–Sango mobile application on Google Play, which achieved approximately 5,000 downloads within two years. He also developed several other applications that year, including an English–Swahili app with about 50,000 downloads.
In 2021, he launched Kilimosoft, a farming application designed to support beginners in agriculture and animal breeding.
In 2022, he created a hotel management desktop application for a colleague from Nigeria.
In 2023, he built a social-sharing website for his country, hosted on Railway.
In 2024, he joined the Syngabook project, contributing to a marketplace website, a real-estate website, and a social-network application. In 2025, he contributed to the MaiBiz marketplace platform.

Tirel is fluent in Sango, French, and English. He also has basic knowledge of Swahili, Spanish, and Lingala.
Travel
He has traveled widely in Africa, including visits to Congo-Brazzaville (2012), Uganda (2013, 2015), the Democratic Republic of Congo (2014), and Rwanda (2015). He first visited Tanzania in 2017 and has resided there since 2024.
